Happy Monday! Valentine’s Day is a little over a week away. Are you ready? The hubs is a wonderful gift giver and I always struggle. Mostly because I overthink everything! Hi and welcome! When we were in Colorado (at the beginning of January) I saw Valentine’s candy out on the shelves and thought…already!? We haven’t even finished packing up Christmas! That being said, early bird gets the worm right? It’s never too early to plan your Valentine’s Day outfit and date night.
I’ve never been much of a Valentine’s Day girl…meaning it’s not one of those holidays I go crazy for or expect the hubs to go over the top for. To me, it’s too commercialized (hence the story above). However, I am always down for a fun date night with my hubby.
Valentine’s Day tends to be crazy at restaurants (I worked at Pappadeaux briefly in college and wait times could be 2 hours or more), so a casual date at an unexpected place or celebrating Valentine’s Day on a different day are always a time efficient idea 😉
Today I wanted to highlight dressier Valentine’s Day options in case you plan to painting the town red this year. I ordered the cutest wrap dress from Nordstrom Rack and had planned on putting an outfit together for this post, but when it arrived it was too small and sold out in the color I wanted 🙁 It is available in a couple other colors though, including red.
