Before I get to this vest look, I want to say we survived our weekend trip to Boston and loved it! The hubs loved the lobster rolls and ate an abundance of them in our short time there. I loved the history and how nice the people were. Will be sharing a recap soon.
This look made the trip to Boston with me. It is super comfy and the perfect warmth to wear inside restaurants and shops. Throw on a heavy jacket, scarf, beanie, and it is ideal for winter weather. For anyone with cool/cold weather still (sadly Texas is no longer experiencing this), hopefully this vest and boot combo look will become an outfit inspiration for you. When I am putting together outfits I go for a KISS method…keep it simple (and functional). Which is exactly what I did here. By picking a brightly colored vest I was able to “jazz” up the neutral outfit. The vest would also look great paired with a solid colored button down shirt, gingham/plaid print button down, or a cozy sweater for extra warmth.
