You’ve made it to Friday! How does it feel? I am really excited to be approaching another weekend. Tonight we are celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday. Can’t wait to see the family 🙂
I have said it before, when shopping I look for items that can be dressed up and down. An outfit like this can go from day to night or in this case, work to happy hour. Versatile pieces are essential for your closet! I love this red top because it’s comfortable, but it is also in line with the fall PANTONE color Grenadine (see inspiration post here). In my opinion, bright colors are often overlooked for the workplace, depending on your employer. I like to throw in a bright color from time to time because otherwise there would be a lot of black and white. My go to color combo heehee These Express Mid Rise Columnist Ankle Pants are my favorite dress pants. They fit so well and are the perfect length for this 5’4″ gal. Looks great with heels or flats and come in a lot of different colors. I own several pair in black. Also a sucker for pointed toe pumps…it’s a problem y’all!
By the way, did anyone see Target and Chip and Joanna Gaines announced their new product line, Hearth and Hand with Magnolia? Excuse me while I go mark my calendar and prepare to empty my bank account. I am really excited to see what products they have because I’m sure they will all be wonderful. Target has partnered with a lot of great companies the last few years and I think it is great to make fashion and home decor affordable to the masses. It’s hard to see designer everything in magazines and on blogs, knowing it’s not in your budget. This is one reasons why I try to share affordable looks here!
