Fall 2017 PANTONE Fashion Color: Shaded Spruce

Shaded Spruce

In August I shared a post on the most popular color for Fall 2017, grenadine. It’s a super vibrant color and great to bright up both fall and winter wardrobes.

The color I am sharing today is more subdued; shaded spruce. It definitely reminds me of fall and Christmas. Shaded spruce is a color that instantly calms me. The teal blue/green color is so inviting, but maybe that is because I am drawn to this part of the color wheel normally. Not only does this color look great in fashion, but it’s a good color to incorporate with home decor. It pairs well with warm and cool tones and textures like wood and metals!

To give you even more inspiration when picking your fall wardrobe, here are some of the other Fall 2017 PANTONE colors I’d pair with shaded spruce. My favorite is paired with ballet slipper. So girlie! 🙂Shaded Spruce Color Pairings

Hope you are feeling inspired by this calming color! Until next post…xoxo Becca

Statement Sleeves

Statement sleeves, a trend we have seen all year continues into fall fashion. Read last fall’s post on bell sleeves here. The trend started with off the shoulder and cold shoulder tops, then added bell sleeves. Now we are in full blown statement sleeves territory. This trend achieves the soft and feminine look with a side of drama. 😛 Designers style it many ways, including a lot of texture and detail in some cases. Bell, ruffle, bishop; there are so many styles to choose from. Regardless of what style(s) you are drawn to, the statement sleeves trend adds a little chic to your wardrobe!

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty relaxed. Had dinner with the family on Friday night to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday. Saturday the hubs worked boys’ bid day (ahhh Greek Life) and we finished the day with homemade pizza and Game of Thrones. Yesterday was a whole lot of getting ready for the work week, running errands (aka picking up my Kroger ClistList oder lol), and football. The weather here warmed up and it makes me crave the fall temperatures even more. Hope you have a great week! Until next post…xoxo Becca
